BillerReinhart Structural Group, Inc. prepared design drawings and specifications and bid documents for the exterior renovation and restoration of the two 2-story timeshare buildings. The project includes the following: removal and replacement of exterior elevated walkways, exterior stairs, balconies, and patio and walkway slabs at grade; restoration and strengthening of exterior masonry walls, resurfacing of exterior masonry walls (new stucco finish and coating application), restoration of existing concrete beams and slabs, removal and replacement of timber beach shelter structures, specification of sealants, expansion joints, and waterproofing membranes; removal and replacement of doors, windows, and sliding glass doors; removal and replacement of guardrail systems, repair and reconfiguration of roof mansard structures, removal and replacement of existing fencing, construction of drainage improvements, application of pavement overlays, and implementation of mechanical and electrical upgrades.
BillerReinhart assisted the client and owner during the project’s bidding phase to select a contractor. BillerReinhart will perform construction administration services that include the following: conducting site visits to observe construction progress, submitting reports documenting the work to the client and building code official having jurisdiction, attending weekly project meetings, and reviewing contractor payment applications.
