Professional Engineer

Description of Duties
- Develop and review engineering calculations for building/component or structure analysis and design
- Develop and review project specifications to promote companywide quality assurance standards
- Coordination with engineering technicians for drawing preparation
- Sign and seal documents in your field of expertise
- Provide collaboration and internal peer review to promote companywide quality assurance standards
- Client correspondence, representation and coordination
- Participate in business development activities
- Building/structure condition assessments and forensic investigations
- Construction observation and documentation
- Compose and review observation, field, and summary reports
Qualifications
- Graduation with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering focus from an ABET accredited university
- Professional Engineering license in the state of Florida or the ability to acquire
- Threshold Inspector license or ability to acquire preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary
- Must satisfy a background check
