Biller Reinhart Engineering Group, Inc. performed structural engineering analysis services to evaluate the thrust effects of the Commute-A-Walk in use at Kansai Airport in Japan. A temporary walkway, called the Commute-A-Walk, is in use by the Kansai airport to provide passengers with a sheltered walkway to board the selected airplane. BillerReinhart performed calculations to analyze the structure to identify the integrity of the system under the condition that Thrust from adjacent airplane is going to be impacting the structure.
